What It Does
Daily Flow brings project planning, task management, Markdown notes, deadlines, goals, and everyday focus tools into a single desktop workspace. Core data is stored locally in SQLite, so you can use the app without creating an account or depending on a cloud service.
It is designed for solo developers and makers who want project context, implementation notes, recurring work, Git status, and personal motivation to stay connected instead of being scattered across unrelated apps.

📁 Project Planning
Organize products with dedicated categories, six lifecycle states, priority, start dates, deadlines, descriptions, repository links, store or build links, progress tracking, archives, duplicates, and linked notes.
✅ Tasks, Kanban, and Recurring Work
Use a task list or a three-column Kanban board, drag tasks between states, edit inline, set deadlines, import CSV, and repeat tasks daily, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly.
📝 Markdown Notes and Daily Journal
Write in editor, split, or preview mode with sequential autosave, conflict detection, interactive checklists, code-copy buttons, backlinks, local images, PDF printing, and fast daily journal creation.
🔎 Unified Search
Search projects by name or description and notes through SQLite FTS5, including Vietnamese searches typed without diacritics. Large lists support pagination and focused filters.
🏆 Points, Ranks, Goals, and Achievements
Turn project milestones into progress points, climb 24 ranks, maintain an activity streak, set weekly or monthly point goals, and unlock 12 achievements across projects, notes, tasks, and journals.
⏱️ Calendar, Pomodoro, and Quick Capture
Review deadlines and note dates in one calendar, use a persistent 25/5 Pomodoro timer, and capture a new note from the tray or the global Ctrl+Alt+N shortcut.
🌐 Git Status and Optional Weather
See the local repository branch, changed files, ahead/behind state, and latest commit for a project. Optional Open-Meteo weather appears only when you enable it and choose a location.
🎨 Personalization and 11 Languages
Choose dark or light mode, system or custom fonts, interface scale, text and accent colors, reduced motion, rank badge visibility, and one of 11 interface languages.
Local-First Data Safety
- Projects, tasks, notes, categories, settings, and attachments are stored locally in AppData.
- Soft-deleted content can be restored from Trash, with configurable automatic cleanup.
- Self-contained ZIP backups include SQLite data and local attachments.
- Automatic backups retain up to ten recent versions.
- Restore creates a safety backup and rolls back automatically if recovery fails.
- App lock uses Argon2 hashing and limits repeated attempts.
Important: App lock protects the running interface and app commands; it does not encrypt the SQLite database or backup files on disk.

Requirements
Windows is the supported production target. Linux and macOS support has not yet been verified, and web/mobile versions are not current product targets.
Privacy and Network Use
Daily Flow has no account, OAuth flow, or cloud sync in the current version. Core workspace data remains on your computer. Network access is used only for optional Open-Meteo weather, remote HTTPS images embedded in Markdown, and external links you choose to open.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Daily Flow require an account?
No. The current version works without an account or cloud service.
Does App Lock encrypt my database?
No. It protects the running interface and commands, but the SQLite database and backups are not encrypted on disk.
Can I move data to another computer?
Yes. Create a Daily Flow backup ZIP and restore it on the other installation. The bundle includes local attachments.
Is Daily Flow available for macOS or Linux?
Not as a verified production release yet. Windows 10/11 is the supported target.
